Welcome to the North & Causeway Coast

The Causeway Coastal Route is the coastal drive from Belfast right through to Derry Londonderry on the border with Donegal. The full drive takes you along the shores of Belfast Lough and then along the Antrim Coast passing the nine Glens of Antrim before reaching the Causeway Coast, also known as the North Coast. The final stretch of the drive takes you along Lough Foyle to finish in Derry Londonderry.

There are plenty of things to see and do in the area including walks and festivals in the Glens of Antrim, Giant’s Causeway, Rathlin Island, the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle, Bushmills, Mussenden Temple and the Dark Hedges. There are also quite a number of less well known sights to see that will further enrich your experience. If who don’t mind cold water and love water sports, you will find companies offering kayaking, coasteering and surfing.

To orientate yourself we suggest you take a look at the interactive map and the Causeway Coastal Route overview article before clicking through to learn more about the individual activities and destinations.
